Is it safe?
The grounding sheet does not use or come into contact with electricity. Its plug is designed solely to connect to the grounding port of the socket, without interacting with the live electrical components. Essentially, it functions like an extension, channeling the Earth’s natural energy indoors to help keep you grounded while you sleep.
Can I fit the sheet under my current bed sheets?
Yes, as long as the covering sheet is made from natural materials like cotton or bamboo.
Some people prefer to use the grounding sheet as the top layer for more direct contact and a stronger connection. However, our multimeter tests have shown that a strong Earth connection is still maintained even when the Earthing sheet is placed under a cotton sheet, with additional layers of clothing or pyjamas.
Additionally, as you lie on the covering sheet, perspiration and environmental humidity will naturally hydrate it, further enhancing the Earth connection.
How do I know if the grounding sheet is working?
As long as your grounding sheet is connected to a properly wired plug socket, it will be grounded, allowing you to experience its benefits. You can also use a conductivity tester to verify that your body is grounded when in contact with the sheet.
Can I wash and dry them?
Yes, the sheets are fine to wash as you normally would with cotton normal in you're machine. For drying, we recommend a low heat or ideally to hang dry them
Does it use electric?
No, the the sheet does not use electricity, nor does it come into contact with it. The sheet is only connected to the Earth point of the socket. The other prongs are made of non-conductive plastic, so there is no electrical connection. As a result, the socket can remain switched off, and the sheet will still function as intended.
Can I use it with an extension lead?
Yes, you can use an extension lead to ground the sheet, as long as both the socket and the extension have an Earth connection
What does the science say?
Studies have shown that grounding can help reduce inflammation and pain. A notable study published in the Journal of Inflammation Research found that grounding the human body during sleep can reduce inflammation and improve immune response. Researchers believe that grounding allows the body to absorb negatively charged electrons from the Earth, which could help neutralize free radicals and reduce inflammation.
Can the sheets be ironed?
Yes! Just make sure to do it at a low setting and you'll be fine
